Aspire Japan
Aspire Japan, a Japanese catalog company, wanted a very high-end package to reach senior executives at major U. S. brands to interest them in selling into the very large and lucrative Japanese market.
ICLA designed a leather stationery box to hold a presentation book, a personalized hanko (chop), ink well, a set of cards and envelopes and an instruction sheet on how to use and maintain the hanko.
The presentation book was case bound with matte white and matte red foil stamping on red silk with a double-reveal cover. The text was printed four color process with spot gloss varnish and spot dull varnish throughout, then smyth sewn.
The individual hanko was cut and polished granite with the company logo etched on the side and the individual’s name inscribed in Japanese on the bottom.
